2024년, 싱가포르는 대체 벙커 연료 판매량이 처음으로 100만 톤을 넘어서는 중요한 이정표를 달성했다. 저탄소 연료 도입을 더욱 지원하기 위해, 2025년에는 안전, 역량 및 규제 프레임워크에 중점을 둔 메탄올 벙커링에 대한 기술 지침을 발표할 계획이다.

In 2024, Singapore achieved a significant milestone by surpassing one million tonnes in alternative bunker fuel sales for the first time. To further support the adoption of low-carbon fuels, the country plans to release a Technical Reference for methanol bunkering in 2025, focusing on safety, competencies, and regulatory frameworks.
